Approaching One Year

It is hard to beleive that Cooper will be a year old in just a few days. It still amazes me that we are planning his first birthday this weekend! He is standing up for a few seconds on his own, but not walking yet. He has 8 teeth, and only wants big people food now. If you attempt to feed him jar food it will be thrown back at you. Thanks to my husband, Cooper has discovered that he loves chips ahoy choclate chip cookies. His excuse was that he was practicing for his birthday cake this weekend. I guess he is going to be like his momma and love chocloate! I will post the birthday pictures after the big party.

Time marches on

Time marches on and yet I still have not blogged. So much has happened since I have been on here. Braden just turned four and started pre-k Monday. Hard to beleive he will be in big boy school next year, but my pocket book will love it! He can officially write his name, write all of his numbers, and he knows all of the planets! Pretty impressive if you ask me. We have also signed him up to play flag football next month and we can't wait for that.

Cooper is now 8 months and is the laziest baby I know! He does not want to roll, does not pull up, and does not want to crawl! I think I created the problem by holding him the entire time I was home, but what can I say, babies need love too......

Like mother like son

I am sure everyone has heard the saying like father like son. Well in this case, it is like mother like son. When Cooper was born, he developed a hernia behind his belly button. The doctor's said it was no big deal and would resolve itself within the first year. Well Coooper's belly has gone down, but now mommy has a hernia behind her belly button. Funny how things work out. I kept thinking ok, I'm losing weight everywhere, and can get back in my clothes finally, but man I sitll look pregnant! I knew something was up when my stomach began to hurt. I went to the doctor yesterday, and mine was much worse than I thought. I will be having surgery first thing Monday morning. I think Cooper got the better end of the deal here.

No time...

I find it hard these days to stop and take pictures. I did manage to snap a few the other night. Here are some new pictures of the boys.

What a great night!

Cooper slept through the night for the first time last night! I could not be happier, especially since I will be going back to work Monday. Just in time. Keep your fingers crossed and hope it wasn't just a one night thing.....

The boys they are a growin

The boys continue to grow too fast. Cooper is 8 weeks old today, and Braden will be 4 this summer. Cooper is starting to smile and developing his own little personality. Braden is growing like a weed, and is no longer a baby :( This weekend we signed Braden up to play t-ball. I can't beleive it, but I can't wait to watch him play either! I attached some new pictures.

Time Flies

Well as you all know, I am long overdue on another post. Since we had Cooper, the time just seems to fly by. I think it has something to do with having 2 little ones now. Hard to believe Cooper will be 6 weeks old in just a matter of days. We took him to the doctor last week and he was 12 pounds! Now the scale says he is approaching 13 pounds! It is amazing how much formula we go through in a week. Real food will be right around the corner for Mr. Cooper. I have also discovered that Cooper is tongue tied, something I had never heard of, so we have an appointment Monday for a clipping. I am a little nervous, but I understand it is pretty routine these days.

Cooper is sleeping 3 to 4 hours at a time, so luckily Brian gets up once in the middle of the night, and I get up once in the early morning. This go around seems so much easier and neither of us are totally drained or sleep deprived as we were with Braden. Cooper is going to spend the night in his crib for the first time tonight. I am a little worried, but we'll see.
